BACK AT IT!

HELLO.
I know i did exactly what i said i wasn't going to do!
But much has changed in my life and i've been quite a busy bee!
I am back out in colorado!
Right now, just living and gaining inspiration- making art everyday! :)
I am going to an open house at the Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design on tuesday so im pretty damn excited about that!
I'll try to upload all the art i've been working on, from little doodles to real canvas stuff! Did my first canvas last week and am super effing happy and excited with how it turned out! Hopefully gonna make a few prints of it so if you'd like one, shoot me a message! It feels so good to be back in colorado and my creative energies are at their highest! I'm not much of a drawer or painter, but im working on it so hopefully you can see me exploring my mind and try to perfect my skills! I'm gonna end this post with a quote by one of my favorite people on this earth who i can relate too quite well!

Daily Danger #1

So my dad just bought an adapter for a mircro-sd card thinking it was an sd card, and he asked if i could use it for anything.... i pondered for a second and remembered that my phone has a micro sd card in it. i happily took it and just tried it for the first time. I have more than 350+ videos and more than 1,000 photos on my phone. I will try to upload 1 or 2 things per day and well see where it takes us. enjoy all the high quality camera-phone footage and photography!

lemme explain

I woke up this morning at 7am. I'm in montreal, canada with my family at my cousins BEAUTIFUL house. instead of trying to fall back asleep and awaken with the rest of my zombie family members, i chose to get out my camera and take a whole bunch of shots of this place. it's like an art gallery in here and it brings back so many memories from christmas' growing up. i had a chance to take a good hundred photos last night, and probably around 200 so far today. think i got some cool shots! ill be posting my favorites when i return to MPLS.

explanation behind this mess:

so youre probably wondering what the hell is the meaning behind "The Trap Door".

that makes two of us.

i could make up some deep meaning to it, like at first it may look like a normal blog, but wait! look deeper! there's a trap door! ENTER.

NO.

Just a kinda cool name thats catchy so youll remember it. ya diiiig?
anyways, i've been pretty lazy with this just like i said i wouldnt. . .
But i did make it at quite a busy time. studying my ass off for finals at CSU, saying all my goodbyes to the FOCO crew, and coming home to see family and friends.

I really do want to stick with this and make it something you want to come back and check out.

ALWAYS SOMETHING DOWN THERE....

Life Decisions. Part 1:

So, I've been attending Colorado State University for this first semester.
I love it out here: the mountains, the city, but most importantly the people.
I have gotten very close with so many kind hearted souls while attending CSU.
We've created a family here and it's going to be hard to leave my brothers and sisters behind.
I'll be back. Without a doubt. I can't stress enough how amazing Fort Collins is.
As much as i love it here, I want to learn more about my passion:
Photography.
So, with much thought, I have decided to attend the Minneapolis College of Art and Design.
This was no easy decision.
It will be a bittersweet goodbye. I know that this decision is for the best.
Photography lets me express myself.
When I can share how I view life with others, I believe there is nothing better.
That is where MCAD comes in. To sharpen my outlook on life.
Make me see things that I wouldn't normally see, and perfect my method of capturing time.
I will be posting photos for you to view. I hope that you will be able to see my improvement.

Trap Door

They always said third times a charm.
So, with that in mind, I'm creating my third blog.
The other two I created were epic fails.
